Masi has quite simply bungled every decision he has made since he took the job, sack him and put someone capable of following and enforcing the rules regardless of any outside pressure from the media, twitter, liberty, team or other bosses. In other words, someone impartial. Me for example, I never bow to commercial pressure because it's my job to uphold regulations, (my boss will vouch for that) it's terrible for my career because you have to stop some very senior people from making potentially fatal decisions and non of them realise that you're actually saving their careers as well as ordinary lives. It's a completely thankless task. So, next time you step off a plane on holiday, remember it wasn't just the pilots that got you there. I'd do Masi's job in a heartbeat, the decisions he makes don't appear to be too difficult by comparison.15-12-2021 05:26

If the stuards don't penalise Max then it's going to make the next few races very exciting. Let's just hope that no one gets killed in the melee. .19-11-2021 08:13

It looks quite clear to me that VB has been driving for redbull ever since Mercedes negotiated his new contract at alfa. If I were Toto I'd have put him on ice the first race after he'd signed the contract and stuck De-vries in for the rest of the season, after all he couldn't possibly have done a worse job than the very synical VB, who is clearly bitter and twisted because he's never been able to consistently compete with his teammate. Constant defeat is bad for your soul, he should have left Mercedes at least two years ago of his own volition. LH has no chance of winning this season with 4 drivers openly stating that they're helping MV to the title, plus one (VB), who's on track shinanigans bely his corporate statements of loyalty. 4 drivers - S. Perez, P. Gasly, Y. Tsunoda, F. Alonso. Who has LH got on his side? Even Mercedes seem like they're working against him half the time, there tactics have been shockingly bad and somewhat dithering on occasion this season.09-11-2021 18:18

Good old torpedo max, takes someone out while he's having a teenage strop. Then puts his foot on the accelerator when on top of another car, Mercedes should have had him arrested for attempted murder.13-09-2021 07:53

Great news, devries is far more talented (and respectful) than Max is. It'll be good to see a Neder that's actually Dutch, the orange army will actually have someone worthy of the following, with proven talent from the lower formula's. Bye bye Max.07-09-2021 20:08

SLH has made less mistakes in his entire F1 career than boo hoo Max makes in half a season, what's more is that he learns something from every mistake that either he or his team makes. If Max were to learn from his own mistakes, he may, one day, (provided he has a far superior car), win a championship. Trouble is, Max seems incapable of learning anything, he still makes the same mistakes that he did in his first season. It takes more than just a bit of talent to keep winning throughout a season, there's no doubt that Max is hugely talented, i just doubt his ability to to keep a lid on his emotions when the chips are down. SLH, by contrast appears cooler than a frozen cucumber, and of course, has talent coming out of his ears. By the way, Ferrari should have won both 2017 and 2018 championships, had Seb not lost his mind due to the immense pressure applied by SLH. Redbull also look like they're starting to suffer a similar fate this season.19-08-2021 20:27

Seems the general concensus is that Max did everything right and doesn't need to change anything. Hilarious, not much consolation when your rival wins a race you could have won if you'd 'learnt' a little bit of patience. Max learning nothing everytime he has an accident (which is quite a frequent thing), equals no championship. SLH learning something from even the slightest slip up equals multiple World championships. If Max wants to win, he's going to have to start learning soon, after all, when SLH retires at age 47, with 15 championships under his belt, Llando (who seems to learn from any incident), will be the next one to rub Maxs' face in the tarmac, cos Max will be too busy learning nothing while his team blow smoke up his chuff.17-08-2021 20:14

This is a familiar line from Max, 'I'm not changing anything, I didn't do anything wrong' lol. Not learning from mistakes equals not winning any championships. On the contrary, SLH is constantly learning, therefore equalling multiple championships. If i were Max, I'd be learning as much as possible from a master of the game. The bloke who's leading the championship, he seems to have figured it out a few years ago now.17-08-2021 19:58

Hmmm, choices, get destroyed by Leclerc again or get taken apart by verstappen or get humiliated by Hamilton, again. Or retire gracefully.06-02-2020 12:59

Max is no longer a rookie, but he's still making rookie mistakes, yes he does have the odd great drive and he is one of the more talented drivers on the grid, but, as long as he keeps throwing tantrums and spitting his dummy out it will cost him points, wins, and ultimately, championships. Unfortunately for Max, his team have blown so much smoke up his rear that I'm not sure he'll ever learn to control himself so, in summary. He is talented, but he's no Lewis Hamilton.12-12-2019 11:33
