Excuses excuses. The only time you can accurately compare two drivers is when they are in the same machine. Lewis, a rookie at the time, ended the Driver's Championship above Alonso the defending champion while driving the same equipment. As a rookie, he should not even had been close.08-01-2022 19:11

You can't paint faeces all kinds of colours & it still remains faeces. The original comment is correct. Lewis hate is due to jealousy or bigotry. If I were to pick out some of your statements like "superiority", "arrogance", "fastest car" you are clarely proving the point of the original comment. Other drivers can be arrogant; Kimi Raikkonen getting applause for his, Verstappen who is constantly arrogant to the extent he plainly insults journalist & the list goes on. But Lewis Hamilton who constantly thanks his teams & the fans and congratulates his opponent in the press is who you decide to pick on. Also, when did having a fast car become reason to hate anyone? You only feel he thinks he is superior because your subconscious has tattoed your brain into believing he is meant to be below you. Everyone is the best driver until they are paired with Hamilton. Hamilton a rookie beat 2 time world champion Alonso. No excuses. Button got the better of Hamilton one year out of the three years they spent together while Hamilton won the other 2. But Hamilton is so great, people keep on bringing up Button because its incredible another driver finished above him. Hamilton has been thrashing everyone since his karting days. In fact, Hamilton won 15 of 20 races in Formula 3 in 2005. A feat no other driver has achieved. Formula 3 is a spec series where all cars have the same specs. For comparison, Vettel who is a 4 time world champion also competed in the same competition that same year alongside Hamilton and Vettel won 0 (zero) races. Hamilton came out 1st in almost all competitions before joining F1 & these are mainly spec races. Hamilton is the only F1 driver to have won a race every single year since his rookie season regardless of what team or car he's in. Everyone thought Hamilton had committed career suicide by joining Mercedes but he has turned them into a multiple championship winning team. Bottas was the flying Finn doing wonders in Williams before his introduction to Mercedes was meant to be a threat to Hamolton. Hamilton has humbled him. In fact, Max Verstappen did no better in a Redbull than Bottas did in a Williams. Max's best result prior 2019 was 4th position. Bottas driving Williams also finished 4th. Everyone is a F1 master until they are paired with Hamilton.06-10-2020 19:40
