I have no intrest in the lives of drivers off the track, support, protest. Every person has the right to make decisions with in the law. I have no opinion on a driver and what they do off a track as long as it does not bring a team into disrepute.11-05-2022 11:51

Criticism is valid, accidents caused, unsportmanship like conduct. Taking aim at a good battle and cheapening it is not sporting. I will defend LH and Merc for the same in the past. Sometime teams do a better a job, it is a team sport after all. RB and Vettel, Schumacher and Ferrari, Alonso and Renault. Sometimes there is close competition and sadly other times we get bored. Sadly lack of competition does cheapen wins. I do belive this weekend Verstappen did an excellent job to beat leclerc. It was hard fought in the end. No mistakes in those conditions is commendable.11-05-2022 09:39

I am gona throw my 2 cents in. The Hamilton/Vettel era is just coming to an end that is all. Smile cause it happend and remeber it fondly. Just like the Schumacher/Hakkinen era ended and Alonso and Kimi came then Hamilton and Vettel came. Hamilton was the best of his era. No, there is no Goat in racing. Only the best of an era. F1 is steeped in nostalgia. Clark, Laude, Stewart, Fangio. We will always remeber the greats. Sadly all good things come to an end. McLaren, Ferrari and Williams fans will know.... One day in the future you can tell your kids or grand kids you got to watch these legends race. My dad still tells me stories of Clark, Laude, Hunt, Mansel, Stewart. He is one of the lucky ones that started watching in the early 60s. That is what makes the sport special. I got to see guys like Senna race in South Africa in 93( my first and only) i grew up watching Hill, Alesi, Hakkinen, Schumacher, Kimi. Ferrari has broken my hart broken my TV and more. We smile and wait for the next lights out. Its the start of something new and hopefully special. Norris, Leclerc, Verstappen, Russel. Hell i cant be more excited.23-04-2022 22:52

I was there in in 93 too. Was my first and last. For us it is our only opportunity to see F1. Very few people can go watch a race in another country. I beg to differ, maybe it can help attract sponsorship from overseas or even foreign investment. It is an opportunity to show case our culture and our country to the world. It is also a massive boon to tourism, a lot of people will come visit for f1 and and the wildlife, even making a holiday of it.20-04-2022 07:46

Well where else in Africa do you want to host it? Sadly corruption and iept politicians will do that to a country. It only took one bad president went from Q16% to 82 % debt tp GDP ratio. What we hope for is FDI with these type of events. Yes FIFA 2010 was a failure. However the cricket and Rugby was both profitable.
