It's to do with the design of the cars, Mercedes is running a Low-Rake car, meaning the angle of the floor from the track is a lot less, I believe it's about 1.2 Degrees, whereas the Red Bull and the majority of the other cars on the grid run a high rake car, so their angle is about 1.9+ Degrees. The Suspension system Merc is running causes the rear to lower and cause the diffuser to stall reducing drag, RB would have to make a system that lowers the car a much larger amount, and that's impractical or not possible on their car, especially with 3 races left.18-11-2021 05:13
