Red Bull Racing has done excellent business during the third free practice session of the Turkish Grand Prix. Where Max Verstappen set the second fastest time, Sergio Pérez even reached the third position. Pierre Gasly was the fastest of the morning session.

The Austrian team was determined to have a good practice session. Red Bull disappointed on Friday with a second and fifth place for Verstappen. Mercedes was faster than their competitors in all sectors, so the Austrians had to work through the night to improve their performance. They succeeded in doing so in the end, as was apparent on Saturday morning.

The drivers had to deal with a lot of water on the track due to heavy rainfall, which made it extra difficult for the teams to prepare for Saturday afternoon's qualifying. It didn't matter to Red Bull though, as the Austrians performed well with second and third times. Mercedes did a lot less with Valtteri Bottas on P9 and Hamilton on P18.

Gasly takes first place in VT3 of GP Turkey

AlphaTauri was the big winner of the morning session. Gasly managed to outsmart Red Bull and set the fastest time. Ferrari did well too with a fourth time for Carlos Sainz and fifth for Charles Leclerc.
