At Ganassi, the Danish driver will be paired with the Dutch driver Renger van der Zande in a Cadillac DPi-V.R. Ganassi is a household name in American motorsport and Ganassi teams have won the 24 Hours of Daytona eight times and claimed seven IMSA championship. They have had 64 victories between 2004 and 2019. The team has also won both the 12 Hours of Sebring and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Final goodbye?

Kevin Magnussen entered Formula 1 for McLaren in 2014, before a year out of the sport and a return with Renault in 2016. The past four years he drove for Haas. He and Romain Grosjean will be replaced by Nikita Mazepin and Mick Schumacher next year. In his career, Magnussen won the Formula Renault title in 2013 and the Danish Formula Ford Championship in 2008. Although you never know for sure in this sport, Magnussen now seems to leave Formula 1 indefinitely.
