It's been apparent for a long time now: Ferrari are cooking something impressive. On Monday, the next two steps became clear and it seems as though Lewis Hamilton is another step closer to making a masterstroke of a move from Mercedes.

Hamilton has more familiar faces at Ferrari

Ferrari have officially announced they have appointed Loic Serra and Jerome D'Ambrosio. The two are from Mercedes and have been serving their gardening leave recently. They will join Lewis Hamilton in making a switch from Mercedes to the Maranello-based team.

Serra will start work as Head of Chassis Performance Engineering. D'Ambrosio will become Frederic Vasseur's right-hand man as Deputy Team Principal.

Ferrari upgrades are clear

With almost a full week before the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Ferrari decided to take advantage of the second (and last) 200 km filming day of the season both to do commercial filming for the new HP partnership and especially to test the new SF-24 EVO at Fiorano Circuit last Friday. The updated car showed a lot of innovative solutions, which could give Ferrari the performance needed to catch up with McLaren and Red Bull for the rest of the season. Let’s try to have a look at the technical solutions hidden behind the SF-24 EVO. Check them all out here.

Oliver Bearman is back in Imola

For the first time since the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, where he finished in seventh place ahead of Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton, Oliver Bearman will now return to Formula One at Imola. The young Briton will drive a Haas car in FP1. He said he is looking forward to rejoining the team.
