Qualifying is scheduled for later today at Albert Park, but first, it is time for FP3. Red Bull Racing have some work to do ahead of the third free practice session as Max Verstappen's team seemed to be a little bit behind after the opening day in Australia. Not much could be said about the qualifying runs, as everyone drove with different amounts of fuel. From the long runs, we were able to understand a little bit more, and it wasn't a great session for Verstappen. According to Helmut Marko, McLaren and Ferrari were several tenths faster because Max had stopped for 20 minutes earlier in the second free practice session due to floor damage.

At Williams, we once again see Alexander Albon driving. The British Thai driver crashed his FW46 yesterday, but he will step into team-mate Logan Sargeant's car. According to Williams team boss James Vowles, it was a tough choice but one that was necessary in the team's interests.
