Despite being only 26 years old, Max Verstappen is already talking a lot about his future after, or perhaps during, Formula 1. The Dutchman, meanwhile, already has three world championships in the king class of motorsport, and is locked in with Red Bull Racing until 2028, which means five more seasons of Formula 1 for Verstappen.

The number-one F1 driver on the car has previously stated that he does not see himself driving in F1 at 40. Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso have already passed that age limit, and they seem almost impossible to get away from Formula 1. Yet Verstappen has already indicated, it is not his intention to do the same.

Mol on Verstappen's future

Analyst Olav Mol gives his take on the situation surrounding the Dutchman. " I don't see Max Verstappen doing anything else besides Formula 1 in the coming years, even for as long as he has his contract at Red Bull Racing," Mol opens at Ziggo Sport. "He is just doing this [Formula 1]. This is what he does and this is what he wants."

"It [another racing class] could be a solution for the future," Mol continued. "That he likes it is for sure, but of course he is very busy setting up his sim racing team. For now, besides all he has to do in Formula 1, I don't see Verstappen taking a side step towards Le Mans," the analyst concludes.
