'Results' FP1 Las Vegas | Leclerc fastest, ahead of two Haas drivers

A surreal first free practice in Las Vegas - which was ended after only 10 minutes because of a loose manhole cover - had an equally remarkable result: Charles Leclerc topped the list. Nico Hulkenberg finished second, ahead of teammate Kevin Magnussen.

Several drivers failed to set a time in the ultra-short session. Max Verstappen had four laps and was more than three seconds slower than Leclerc. Lewis Hamilton set the 12th fastest time.
