Would Verstappen beat Schumacher? 'In terms of talent they are equals'

Timo Glock believes Max Verstappen can match Michael Schumacher. The former Formula 1 driver sees many similarities between the two world champions and thinks it would be exciting if they could have raced against each other.

"There's no doubt that Max is one of the greatest drivers out there. The question will be how good the package is in the future," Glock said in conversation with LuckyBlock.com. "Max is capable of becoming one of the greatest ever in terms of numbers, and he's young enough to eclipse every record out there. This has been one of the most impressive seasons ever! Look at how he's dominated and how he's made no mistakes. He's very, very impressive."

Asked who would win it in a straight duel, Glock finds it difficult to answer. "It's hard to say who would win between Verstappen and Schumacher! I try not to compare drivers from different eras. Michael was at the top of the game in his day, just as Max is now."

"I'd say they're equal in terms of talent and you can compare them well. Michael dominated the sport just as Max is now, and they both keep themselves motivated throughout the year. They're so detail-oriented in every department! It would come down to how they perform on the day, but I'd say they're equals," Glock said.
