While Formula 1 is just entering its summer break, the Formula E season is over. The last race of the FE was held in London. Nick Cassidy of Envision Racing won in London on Sunday and with those 28 points he picked up ensured that his team Envision became the season champion.

Cassidy win makes Envision FE champion

Among the drivers, the FE champion was already known. That was Jake Dennis of Avalanche Andretti who finished third in the London race and took the fastest race lap. New Zealand's Cassidy finished from pole position a scant five seconds ahead of Mitch Evans of Jaguar TCS who had started second. The gap behind was a lot bigger. Dennis was 16 seconds slower than the Australian.

Envision teammate Sébastien Buemi worked with Cassidy to ensure the title went to the team this season. In London, the Swiss finished P6 just behind Stoffel Vandoorne. Envision took the title with just 12 points ahead of Jaguar. Champion Dennis' team, Avalanche Andretti, finished third with 252 points.
