First details of new F1 film Brad Pitt leaked for filming at Silverstone

This coming weekend, the Silverstone Grand Prix will be held. Besides Formula 1 and other racing classes being in action, actor Brad Pitt will also be behind the wheel. This is because, as previously announced, a new Formula 1 movie is coming, and during the race weekend in Britain, filming for that movie will take place. The first images have already leaked!

Lewis Hamilton, among others, is collaborating on the script to make the film as realistic as possible. When the film will be released is still unknown, but expectations for the film are extremely high. The seven-time world champion is convinced it will be the best racing film ever.

With the race weekend at Silverstone just around the corner, some images of exactly what will be filmed are already coming out. For instance, pictures show that the actor's team will be called Apex GP. Pitt's name in the film is also now known, as is that of fellow actor Damson Idris. Pitt will be called Sonny Hayes, where Idris will take to the track as Joshua Pearce. Mercedes has designed the car the American will drive, and photos also reveal that the Brackley-based team will be involved in the fictional racing team.
