Verstappen likely to return to Baku after season

For Max Verstappen, the stay in Azerbaijan is now over. Around half past eight local time, the Dutchman left Baku airport on his own plane. There is every chance that his jet will set sail again at the end of 2023 for the country located in both Europe and Asia.

Indeed, during the Grand Prix festivities, the FIA announced that the motorsport federation's annual congress as well as the award ceremony will be held in Baku after this season. All champions in the championships organised by the FIA will then receive their trophies. The top three of the Formula 1 season will also be in attendance. The event will take place from 4 to 8 December.

Last season, the awards ceremony was in Bologna, Italy. A year earlier, the notables in the world of motorsport had gathered in Paris.
