Williams racing announced a new chief operating officer on Tuesday. Frederic Brousseau will join the British team from April. Canadian Brousseau has decades of experience in the technical world of the aerospace industry.

The new man started his career at Pratt & Whitney in Canada. The company mainly makes aircraft engines for civil and military aviation. After holding a number of managerial roles here, he was appointed vice-president of 'P&W' in April 2022. Brousseau was also often in charge when it came to employee health and safety.

Getting to work for Williams

Chairman of the board Matthew Savage is comfortable with his new colleague. "We are very excited to bring Frederic on board. I expect him to make a significant contribution to our journey at Williams Racing," reads a press release from Williams.

Frederic Brousseau himself indirectly calls the new challenge a dream. “There is no better feeling than setting out on a brand new journey and working towards achieving your dreams." he said. No aero engines or F16s, but a Mercedes engine and an FW45 for the new employee. He says he cannot wait to get started: " I am eager to get started and contribute to building the organisation’s future alongside everyone at Williams Racing."
