Charles Leclerc led the morning session after seeting the fastest time of testing so far on the C4 tyre, followed by Russell and Drugovich who rounded out the top three on their C5 sets.

Issue for Bottas

Valtteri Bottas' test came to screeching halt with just under an hour and a half left in the session when his car made a ood sound and stopped working on his way down to turn 8. Which brought out the red flag. Before that Bottas had had quite a succesful morning clocking in the most laps at the time of the incident as he dived into long run simulations.

Mercedes Make-Up

It was time to make up for lost time for Mercedes as they recover from the hydraulic issues the plauged Russell's afternoon yesterday. The Brit managed over 80 laps today, the second most of anyone, as not only did he catch up on the fast laps he missed out on yesterday when he was out for that last 90 minutes. He also has been chipping away at his long run times.

Mclaren delays

Oscar Piastri and McLaren had a morning to forget. An issue with the wheel brows that forced the team to bring the car in and reshape it with a heat gun severally hampering their running time, completeing 30-40 laps less than their competitors. Something that they would have been hoping to avoid as they already look a smidge off the pace.
