Ocon wants to carry on momentum before summer break

Esteban Ocon will be looking to carry on his team's form at Hockenhheim, to carry on Force India's momentum into the summer break.

Force India driver Esteban Ocon wants to ensure he performs well at Hockenheim to ensure Force India go into F1's summer break in good form.

The Frenchman has finished in the top ten four times out of the last five races.

Ocon now believes he can enjoy a strong last two races before the summer break comes around.

"I feel ready for the final two races before the summer break," said Ocon to F1i.com.

"We have been finding performance as a team with strong results in the last few races and I want to have good ones before the holidays."

He hasn't raced an F1 car around the Hockenheimring, but he is very familiar from his DTm and F3 days.

"Hockenheim is one of the tracks I know the most," he added.

"I have been driving there a lot in my career, first in F3 but also during my experience in DTM with Mercedes.

"It's one of those historical tracks that are important in Formula One and there are always a lot of fans coming to see us with cards, messages and letters.

"It's important to have a German Grand Prix and it's always a special feeling racing there."
