Mick Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel clashed during the Miami Grand Prix. There was no war, however, as after the race the two Germans did a duo interview for the Sky Sports camera.

For Schumacher it was a sour end to his GP in the United States. The German was on a points course and thus immediately his first points in F1. On new medium tires he wanted to attack his mentor, but that did not work out well. Mick came from too far, braked and found out that Vettel had not seen the action coming.

Germans sign the peace

Vettel was also driving a neat race in Miami up to that point. The four-time world champion was on his way to a points finish, but did not see Mick's attack coming. He sent in, but found to his surprise that Mick was sitting there. It caused a touché that allowed both men to forget about their points.

On the board radio both reacted indignantly, but after the race peace was quickly made. In front of the Sky Sports camera they told their story and it was dismissed as a racing incident, just as the stewards would judge it.
