Red Bull Racing advisor Dr. Helmut Marko thinks Ferrari will lose out to Red Bull in the long run. The Austrian thinks the Scuderia cannot handle Red Bull's development speed.

The title fight is already exciting between Ferrari and Red Bull after four races. Charles Leclerc leads the championship, but Max Verstappen is in hot pursuit. Despite the two failures of the Dutchman, the difference in points between the two is only 27. Helmut Marko sees Ferrari succumbing to the pressure just a little too easily, but also thinks there is another point where Red Bull is in control.

Marko thinks Ferrari won't keep up

Speaking to Sky Sports, the consultant says: "It's an exciting and wonderful challenge, but I think in the end Ferrari can't keep up with us in terms of updates." Ferrari lost touch with the top of the field for several years, but was back on top with Red Bull in 2022. From Red Bull we know that they are very strong in developing the car further; they showed that in their battles with Mercedes. From Ferrari we have not seen that in recent years.

Marko does see a big difference between the fight they are having now with Ferrari and the one they had against Mercedes: "It's a rather neat and, how shall I put it, very sporting and friendly rivalry between Ferrari and us."
