These are the highlights of the collaboration between Verstappen and Red Bull

Max Verstappen has been found in a Red Bull Racing car since the spring of 2016. Over the years he experienced several highlights, including winning the world title. What are his best moments at the Austrian racing team so far?

Victory in Barcelona

Red Bull decided to offer Verstappen a place in the big team during the current 2016 season when he was still competing for Toro Rosso. The Dutchman decided to take up the offer and therefore joined the Austrians. Those who were afraid that Verstappen would have to deal with pressure were wrong. In fact, he drove himself to victory already during his first race in Barcelona.

Brazilian GP in 2016

Later in the season, Verstappen put in another impressive race. In Brazil, he had to make two more pit stops than the other drivers and was still in sixteenth place sixteen laps before the end. This did not stop him from overtaking many drivers in the closing stages of the race. In the end, Verstappen even managed to cross the finish line in third place.

Grand Slam in 2021

During the years that followed, Verstappen managed to develop optimally. Last season he reached his peak by performing at the top of his game. This was demonstrated by his performance in Austria, where he was the youngest driver ever to win a Grand Slam. He got it for taking pole position, victory and fastest lap and because he was in the lead during the entire race.

Dutch GP in 2021

Whereas Formula 1 sport was not particularly popular in the Netherlands before 2016, Verstappen ensured that interest in his country increased again. It resulted in recent years in an increasingly loud call to organize a GP in the Netherlands. Verstappen therefore travelled to Zandvoort with great pride in early September. There he also managed to win the main prize.

World title in 2021

The absolute highlight of his career and his collaboration with Red Bull was undoubtedly winning the world title. For years he and Red Bull worked hard to compete with Mercedes and in 2021 finally managed to put up a serious fight. The fact that he managed to beat Hamilton immediately will only have boosted his self-confidence for the years to come.
