Because overtaking is difficult at the Hungaroring, the Hungarian Grand Prix is often expected to be a parade. A shower of rain however can shake things up a bit. And that was also the case today. A short rain shower at the start of the race resulted in a true spectacle, in which several drivers excelled.
The biggest winner of the day was without a doubt Esteban Ocon. He drove a flawless race and took his first GP victory. This definitely qualifies him for the title of 'Driver of the Day'.
An even bigger hero might have been his teammate, without whose excellent defensive work Lewis Hamilton could have taken the win. Other drivers who showed their best side: Nicholas Latifi, Yuki Tsunoda and Sebastian Vettel.
