Daniel Ricciardo has been running a bet since the beginning of the year with Renault team boss Cyril Abiteboul that the Frenchman will have a tattoo done if the Australian got a podium. Now that they have succeeded, Max Verstappen and Christian Horner are having fun.
A Red Bull on the bum?
When Verstappen is told after the race over the onboard radio that his 'old friend' Ricciardo has come third, surprise and joy is heard in the Dutchman's voice. He says he can't wait to see what kind of tattoo Abiteboul has put on.
Verstappen keeps it civilised, but team boss Horner can't resist going a step further. "It looks like he's going to have that tattoo on his ass too, Max. A nice big Red Bull," says Horner. "He'll love that," adds Verstappen, laughing.
