The Mexican's resounding victory can also count on much appreciation from GPblog readers, as Perez was also voted Driver of the Day by you. The race winner did so with a convincing 63 per cent of votes.
His teammate Max Verstappen also received a significant share of votes: 11 per cent of readers thought the Dutchman deserved the honorary title. However, it was Daniel Ricciardo who came 2nd with 17%.
