Mazepin was ahead of both Tsunoda and Shwarzman in the Driver's Championship in F2 last year going into the Bahrain weekend, where he finished 3rd in the feature race but was demoted due to a penalty. So, how do you decide who does or doesn't have talent without looking at their results, politics?, good looks?, likeability?. When it is as subjective like that (which yours is) is how you end up with Karun Chandhok in F1 when he never finished any GP2 season in the top 9 let alone top 9. Daniil Kvyat the guy who was constantly crashing into other drivers in his first 3 years in the sport?, He wouldn't even apologize sometimes. He shouldn't be in F1 as per your discretion?. I think it is actually glorious that you are not part of the people making decisions on who must be in F1 if these are the things you write on the internet....You are essentially condoning a campaign of continual media abuse against one driver for what reason again|?. then again I cannot expect people like you to have a high moral standard if these are the comments you make on the internet. I can bet you have never watched any of his race wins in Junior categories, he won races with touted prospects Tsunoda, Shwatzman, Schumacher and Ilott all in them. This Mazepin slander is becoming quite tiring. I respect the right for one to voice their opinions. This Kiesa guy is just tooting his own horn being from Scandinavia - how is a 22 year old rookie meant to know all the drivers agreements off the bat again?. You can only learn from mistakes. He learned about blue flags in Portimao, and in Spain, he actually gave Hamilton a tow then pulled out - Yet Toto complained and the internet ran with that narrative (yet the onboard camera from Hamilton and the subsequent inaction of FIA clearly tell you he did nothing wrong). Just goes to show you, you don't even have to be racing insanely badly for some to hate you, you could literally be working hard with your team to extract all you can from the car and someone will say something negative about to the F1 media - all for show like Steiner said. Signaling that they're better than Him. The tale that is told by time never deceives, the young man has shown that he is headstrong.

The young people who do any of those things are quite comfortable in the minority. Many of them get their news from social media and read nothing else. I am young and growing up I always read the newspaper, and this has leaked into myself respecting news websites and also not spending time adopting Tiwtter opinions, rather forming my own by doing research and reading. That being said, I am quite sure that FOM and R. Brawn have done their research, young people rather watch Short YouTube highlights than the races, they don't watch the races even if they have the means to. Just look at F1 YouTube, all the session highlights are like 8 minutes or less and they get millions of views. Just look at F1's move into Twitter posting and Instagram posting, as well as the Virtual GP etc all to appeal to young people. It is just the way it is.
