Not a smart strategy on a track like Imola. They make the same mistakes, or they just rely to much on having the best car. Also, no tyre adventage, no speedadventage.20-05-2025 23:32

McLarens tyre adventage seems gone. They never caught up with Verstappen. Who was excelent on his tyres. If that's the update. Good work! Stil hard work to find the sweatspot, but when it is there.... let Verstappen go20-05-2025 23:22

Defenitly an strong last stint and some luck with the safety car. He takes nice adventage from the battle Leclerc/Albon. That was really Hamilton coming alive. But ferrari's kwali has to be better next week. And keeping strong on strategy!20-05-2025 22:50

Was it luck, or was it stragety? Seeing first few laps how the tires are holding. Staying out as long as possible, because they are holding well. Sure, when al Safety car or yellow flag apears, you go in and change tyres. Verstappen was one of the drivers to win. That's teamwork20-05-2025 22:39

That is a strong point of RBR. The strategie. They mostly have the wright one. Verstappen won the race by a very strong move, some called it incredible, best ever etc. Followed by a stint driving very consistent laptimes. Having good racepace being good for his tires. With that strategie, bingo! It took some time but a virtual safetycar.... Bad luck, Verstappen worked better on that strategie than McLaren. After the safety car he kept his head cool, and drove away again. Helped by Piastri on his old tires. And NO that is not just luck...20-05-2025 22:16
