So because you're a 100% certain does this mean anyone who is not in agreement with you is automatically wrong. Yes I watched the footage, in 0.25x speed even. And from it I can conclude that IF Lewis had stayed on track and IF Max kept the same trajectory he used now then yes there would have been a crash. But since I can't be 100% certain that Max would not have turned left a little bit more I also can't say with absolute certainty that the crash would have happened. As it stands Lewis chose to go off track to avoid a crash that could potentially happen, not one that was guaranteed to happen. I'm sorry but I simply do not agree with you.04-08-2025 20:46

"Of course I can be certain. Look at the footage and freeze frame it at the point where Max is now on the outside of the track. Now tell me where Lewis would have been had he stayed on track." Lewis would have been on track and Max would be forced to make a choice: either turn left more or back out and avoid a crash or hold the same line and crash. You can't say with 100% certainty that had Lewis kept his line Max would not have turned left a little more to avoid a collision.04-08-2025 16:02

Exactly, no different from any other driver on the grid. Thank you for confirming that all drivers are equal in and that no one single driver stands out in this regard. And I agree with you, that second time he very clearly moved twice. The first time was debatable but the second time it's clear as day that he is moving twice. Even outside the braking zone doing so is not allowed.04-08-2025 15:32

Lewis chose to go off track. He was not forced. You can't be certain that Max would have kept going at the same trajectory had Lewis held his line.04-08-2025 15:04

Just don't engage. Focus on those who are having mature conversations instead.04-08-2025 12:49

Adrie, I'm gonna be real here for a second... If you say you want to focus on having conversations with normal folks on here then you gotta commit and actually do so. Responding to people in this way even the original post is a silly troll post isn't the way to go if normal conversations are really what you want. And yes I understand that itch. I have it pretty much every time I see comments from certain individuals but the moment I give into that I'll drag myself down to their level again. And while it may give momentary satisfaction it always ends up leaving a bad aftertaste.04-08-2025 12:47

Incorrect. Leclerc was not third at lap 40.04-08-2025 11:25

We are taking into account one driver having mechanical issues with their car vs one who didn't have any mechanical issues.04-08-2025 10:09

Same. I was hoping for a resurgence but it's not looking good. Maybe he can find the reset he needs during summer break. If not then 2026 is going to be his last shot I fear.04-08-2025 09:36
