This is the first time someone has laid the case so clearly. You see it in all the instances they haven't crashed that Lewis yielded. When he has refused to and stood his ground, they've crashed. Its disappointing that the Stewards always waived it off even when Lewis. Everyone calls it good racing but it was because one yielded. I was so disappointed with Martin Brundle on Sjy commentary. Always gave him the benefit of the doubt but this time round, he seriously lost his credibility in my eyes. Thank you Mark Hughes for calling it right. There are no entitled racers!20-09-2021 13:26

How can a former F1 driver judge the crash this way. The thing that baffles me beyond belief is why no one is asking why Max turned in, not once but twice when he saw and knew that Lewis was there. He tried to squeeze him to the wall and it didn't work out. I'm so disgusted by the double standards. If Lewis was on the outside, he will still be blamed. Did anything watch the cutting across at the 1st few corners? What about those and all the other incidents before Silverstone. No one asked for a penalty for Max but they all went on to exhault him, how great he is blah blah....but the stewards needed to do something the times before. The sense is that he gets away with it and wins the race, no consequences because Lewis backed off and all was fine. Well, sorry this time he didn't back off and Max turned in and thats the end result. Max was out of order to turn in whe he knew another car was there. We are only lucky that he didn't crash Lewisninto the wall and unfortunately Max hit the wall. He had all this space to his left, why did he need to turn in that aggressively. Even if Lewis goes ahead he can plan mother attack just like Lewis did the previous races. I'm so disappointed with the commentators at sky and all these ex F1 drivers. As for Horner, the least said about him the better. So vicious in his attacks on Lewis and personal also. I wonder why!24-07-2021 00:36

You always find an angle to have a pop at Lewis. You go around every article and look to undermine him. What is your gribe really,...pathetic! and get a life. Alonso is back next year and you can go support him!23-01-2021 17:09

Meant McClaren in 07 and 08 and not 97 & 98. StillIRise. You watch he will continue to rise. Did you know he was voted by the Public in the UK as sports personality of the year! Must hurt right. Guess what he's now a SIR also and dont dare talk about tax because he pays loads!!! Just carry on your dislike and he will keep breaking barriers and rising. Enjoy ?16-01-2021 19:36

Villeneuve, when was Valteri much faster than Lewis? I would say he cost them the race, because he just sits there and doesnt accelerate or attack. The 1st stint he slowed the pace down and then he made Max pass him like he wasn't there after the 2nd stops and kept going backwards. He was thinking about staying ahead of Lewis instead of winning the race. Hes so negative like that....sets his car up for qualifying and terrible in the race. I will bet you if Lewis had started in the lead, there was no way Max was going to win this race!10-08-2020 11:19

Yes indeed, the name is Dr Martin Luther King. Yes, peaceful protests but not silent. It wasn't silent protest that ended segregation and Jom Crows laws in the US but peaceful non violent protests. Go out there and protest but peacefully no violence and that is what Lewis is leading. There are also silent voices to the public but doing a lot of work in the background. Ultimately someone has to front it and be the lead person and Lewis has chosen this way. I applaud his bravery because he has put everything on the line really. He's there now to be shot at, so he can't go wrong. In anything he does. I think his message is not just about F1 but in every walk of life. Create the awareness and hopefully the penny will drop and more.04-08-2020 21:30

Christian Horner talks a lot of bullshit at times. This guy sees no wrong in what they do but is quick to point fingers...They castigated Renault for several years forgetting how many races they won with them! You think your car is 3 or 4 tenths slower in race trim, then its not a bad car then. Stop sabotaging your other drivers and give them the same car as Max. Let the drivers share their data. You would be closer because you optimise your cars for the race and create a false representation in qualifying. Mercedes are awesome and you guys need to work harder and stop blaming everyone else. I'm sure oh its the engine excuses ...wonder how long before you turn on Honda!03-08-2020 23:05

mp599, You miss the point and I support Hamilton. Unfortunately it wasn't anyone else but Hamilton who got the seat, so live with it. Do you know what he did in Mclaren. Hes the only driver to have won once in all the years hes being in F1....think about that. All the years after 2008 the Mclaren car wasn't great, he still bagged poles and wins. Even in 2008, the Ferrari was the better car and he still won the championship. 2013 he joined Mercedes, their car was rubbish and he still won in Hungary from pole. The Ferrari was the better car for most of 2019 (albeit cheating with the engine) and also 2018 but he still won. Get your facts straight and learn not to hate but at least acknowledge brilliance when you see it. Yes, no one will win the championship without a good car, its a fact of F1.04-08-2020 12:06

I think we should congratulate Mercedes and Hamilton in particular for driving the car home. Let's celebrate this great driver of a rare breed. You make your luck but he's incredible really. After what happened to him in the 1st race he couldve capitulated but there goes your champion....he has risen to the challenge, 3 poles, 3 victories. I wish people will stop complaining about the car and see the talent. Red Bull always under plays their car, that is not a bad car and has never being that bad. Because of their speed deficit (allegedly) they optimise their car for the race and therefore makes it look worse in qualifying. I wish they would put equal effort into the cars of the other red bull drivers. They are prepared to optimise everything for Max to make him look good for staying in detriment to the others. What a sad case. Also SKY UK, what a shame dont pretend to love Lewis. If it was someone else creating these records and winning you will be celebrating instead of complaining. You seem to support everyone who wants to beat Lewis, why I wonder! Vettel, Alonso, Massa, Nico, Button, Verstappen and Bottas 2.0, Bottas 3.0.....yes we know your game really.02-08-2020 18:14

Yawningdog, glad you are leaving. You talk a lot bullshit, very biased and an inert dislike for Hamilton. I don't know how some of comments got published. Well, I'll not miss you and I hope you get to use your energy wisely.03-08-2020 23:17
