Perez unaware: 'Have already spoken to Leclerc'

Sergio Perez had an Austrian Grand Prix to forget. The Mexican lost several positions early in the race after a failed attempt to overtake Lando Norris around the outisde of turn four, and later in the race he had an identical moment, only then Perez was on the right side and forced Charles Leclerc off the track.
Perez never intended to push Leclerc off the track, but nor did he make any move towards the Monegasque. "With Charles we are running on dirty air and a lot of traffic on very old tyres and running out of road and ending up with contact" Perez explained to Sky Sports F1.
Immediately spoke to Leclerc
Perez was oblivious and immediately comes out with an apology to the Ferrari driver. "I am very sorry if I affected the race from Charles because its not the way I do my races. I spoke to him and explained from my side."
"I don't feel comfortable with myself knowing that I ruined a race for another driver, but I have to move on" Perez concluded. The Mexican received two five-second penalties for the actions against Leclerc, and as a result he fell to sixth place after finishing fifth.
