Red Bull Powertrains getting ready

Starting in 2022, Red Bull will have to develop its own engines when Honda exits the sport. The goal of Red Bull is to develop a new engine for 2025 as well. From then on new regulations will apply and Red Bull can make a leap in performance as its own engine manufacturer. They will do this by means of a new factory, with a lot of personnel. A number of important figures have been taken over from Mercedes for this purpose, but a transfer of Cowell is therefore unlikely.
