'I have been enormously disturbed by the criticism of Verstappen'

Christijan Albers backs Max Verstappen after the last race in Turkey. The former Formula 1 driver agrees with the driver of Red Bull Racing about the opinions of various media about Verstappen's performance.

The Dutchman did not have a happy race at Istanbul Park. After his extremely bad start he managed to get himself back on the podium pretty quickly. When he drove behind Sergio Perez and the driver of Racing Point made a mistake, Verstappen saw his chance, but during the overtaking attempt he lost control of his car. Later in the race another spin followed, which definitely left him without a chance to finish on the podium.
