Favourable weather conditions for Red Bull in Saudi Arabia

After a windy Bahrain Grand Prix, Formula 1 looks set for a race you expect in the Middle East, namely one with warm temperatures. Who will benefit from these conditions in Saudi Arabia?

The Bahrain Grand Prix was dominated by Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen. The RB20 was very good on tyres, but Verstappen also did reveal that the balance was a bit better when the wind had died down a bit before the race. Wind also seems to play a role again in Jeddah, though less so than in Bahrain a week ago.

Weather forecast for the Saudi Arabia GP

What is particularly striking about Weather.com's weather forecast is the warm temperatures. Daytime temperatures will be 30 to 31 degrees on the days when F1 will be in action this weekend. Local time is in the evening, so by then it will have cooled down slightly. With that, it is still much warmer than in Bahrain, where temperatures did not exceed 22 degrees during the day.

The wind is also present in Saudi Arabia. As in Bahrain, it does seem to decrease over the weekend. Wind gusts of 30 km/h are still expected on Thursday, where only 21 km/h are indicated for the race on Saturday.
