Max Verstappen doesn't mess about. Red Bull Racing's two-time F1 champion is currently riding perhaps his most impressive season in motorsport, but keeps both feet on the ground. The Dutchman describes the first half of 2023 as "fine.@

Verstappen sees plenty of room for improvement

Speaking to Viaplay, Verstappen said that. 'Max, describe the first half of the season in one word.' To which the Limburger says: "Fine. There is always room for improvement. At the beginning of the season I think it wasn't quite optimal yet, but in general we did super well as a team." The team, Red Bull, still won every race in 2023. Adding the last win of 2022 in Abu Dhabi, Red Bull stands at a record 13-race win streak.

Verstappen won 10 of the 12 races this year. So what could be better? Verstappen: "Everywhere. There is room for improvement everywhere. There is not one thing I think 'that's perfect'. It's all little things, but in the end you have to have that attitude. If you just think everything is okay and perfect then of course at some point you don't really progress either."
