Many classes in motorsport have similar cars, such as Formula 2 and 3. In Formula 1, of course, this is a very different story. Here, each team builds its own car, so much of its success depends on how good the car is. Danica Patrick, the only woman ever to win an IndyCar race, makes a prediction for what would happen if F1 did have equal cars.

Alonso or still Verstappen the fastest?

Patrick was a guest on the Sky Sports F1 Podcast and gives Fernando Alonso a great chance of winning in equal cars. "It's pretty tough for me not to think about Fernando Alonso. Just his ability, I mean he's 42, he has remerged, just so competitive and he's doing that over and over again. A second coming, I think it is so impressive, so I think he's someone I consider, I mean you can't exclude Max. It would be a pretty great duo right there Max and Alonso, both pretty aggressive that would be fun to watch."

'Hamilton makes no mistakes'

Hamilton also features in the former IndyCar and NASCAR driver's list. "I'm really curious to see where Lewis fell on that too because I feel like he doesn't, obviously, he's had so much success with all his championships but yeah I think he might be really close right there, especially when you talk into a race consideration the length of it. He's just so consistent, he doesn't make a lot of mistakes. So he'd be able to snatch the lead when those two are going at it," Patrick said.
