Verstappen subjected to tough physical training by Red Bull

Red Bull Racing have shown footage of Max Verstappen's strenuous physical training. A video posted on Instagram shows Verstappen working up a sweat in preparation for the next race.

That Formula 1 is a physically demanding sport is obvious. The drivers have to deal with a huge amount of G-forces in the corners and have to apply a lot of force to hold themselves properly in those tough corners. It is therefore logical that there is heavy training to prepare the driver for the situations in the race.

But just because it is logical does not mean it is enjoyable. The frustration can be seen on Verstappen's face as he goes through the practice session. "This one is the worst," said Verstappen after the practice session.
