The Haas F1 team had a very productive day of testing. Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hülkenberg drove a total of 172 laps in the 8.5 hours available on Saturday. McLaren drove more than twice as few as Haas F1 and AlphaTauri due to wheel cover issues. Over the three days, AlphaTauri was also the most productive of the 10 teams.

Indeed, Yuki Tsunoda and Nyck de Vries together came to 166 laps. Aston Martin followed on 157 laps, with Mercedes and Ferrari next on 148 and 143 laps respectively. The racing teams are all not far behind each other, as Williams, Red Bull Racing, Alpine and Alfa Romeo all drove roughly the same number of laps.

McLaren is the ugly duckling in the pack. The formation of drivers Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris didn't drive all the most kilometres on the first and second day of testing either, and in terms of times, it's not too bad either. This makes the Woking-based formation perhaps the biggest disappointment of this test week.

Adding up all laps, AlphaTauri managed to complete 456 laps in three days, leaving Williams (439) behind. Ferrari (417), Haas F1 (415) and Red Bull (413) complete the top-five. Alfa Romeo achieved 402 laps, which is four more than Mercedes. Aston Martin (387), Alpine (353) and McLaren (312) are in the rear.

Which team was the most productive on the third day of testing?
