Ferrari looks to Mercedes: 'I'm pretty sure of that'

The Formula 1 teams have completed the three test days in Barcelona. Ferrari can look back on a good week in which it once again took a number of steps forward in the development of the new car. Mattia Binotto agrees with this, he told Sky Sports Italia.

After the disappointing year of 2021, the Italian racing team has regained its taste for success. Last season Binotto's team managed to secure third place in the constructors' championship and in the new year Ferrari hopes to be even closer to the top teams.

Despite the developments, Binotto is keeping an open mind. The team boss expects that not Ferrari, but Mercedes will again be the favorite to win the world championship. "I am pretty sure they will be two or three months ahead of us by the time we will be in Bahrain," he explained in the interview.
