The MotoGP season already looks extremely interesting with many contenders, but it gets even more interesting starting from next race. That's when superstar Marc Marquez returns from a long recovery.
Marquez crashed hard at the Jerez circuit during the first race of 2020 last summer. He broke his arm. Multiple complications and operations forced him to miss the entire previous season and he also did not recover in time for the season opener in Qatar.

That his return was imminent, however, was already known. In recent weeks, Marquez has been racing minibikes, street bikes and his own MotoGP bike from a few years ago.
After last year's misery, however, the doctors did not want to take the risk of sending him back to the track too soon. Knowing Marquez, he will not take it easy. It will be fascinating to see how he fights his way back on a not so competitive Honda bike.
