The dominant Mercedes also topped the timesheets in FP3. Lewis Hamilton leads from Valtteri Bottas. A very good performance on a harder compound of Lando Norris can be seen in P3.
Although it was expected that there would be little racing the third free practice, there was still quite a lot of action. The red tyres seem to be hard to handle, so people prefer to gamble on the yellow and white tyres for qualifying and the race.
In the end, Hamilton and Bottas went the fastest on the red tyre, but Lando Norris connected to P3 (half a second slower) with the yellow harder tyre. Another striking point was the disappointing time of Max Verstappen. The Dutchman was hindered by Lance Stroll's Racing Point when entering Maggots.
