Webber warns that Vettel can have his "very bad moments"

Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel used to be team-mates. Maybe they didn’t get on quite as well as other pairings, but somehow it worked. In the official Formula 1 channel podcast, Webber discusses how the championship leader can sometimes have his “very bad moments.”

“Sebastian sometimes has good, but sometimes very bad moments. He often has his plan, and if it does not go according to plan, he has a complete breakdown. Safety cars are a good example of this, just look at the incident in Baku last year. The same thing happened earlier in 2007 behind the Safety Car when he drove on top of me,” said Mark Webber.

To win the World Championship in such a competitive season, Webber says the German must focus on these bad patches because they need to be ironed out.

“In Abu Dhabi, he also flew behind the Safety Car in 2012, so it is not just a single moment. He just has to be much sharper in those situations,” said Webber.
