Vettel: "My lap was as fast as Hamilton's"

The top three in qualifying today finished closer together than any other result this season. Sebastian Vettel was just 4 hundredths behind Hamilton. Meanwhile, Kimi Raikkonen was just 9 hundredths behind. The result sets up for a great race tomorrow afternoon.

"I would not know where the difference is," Vettel said. "The difference is so small, I think I just drove the same lap. The first run was good, but the second run was fine too. I drove two equal laps, so there was apparently no more today."

Vettel, who has pain in the neck, has the opportunity to cause some grief to Hamilton and his home fans in the opening corner tomorrow. He will be backed up by team-mate Kimi Raikkonen who will surround the Silver Arrow with red. The Fin claimed he lost time in the second sector.

"Sector one and three were fine, but in the middle, I made a mistake in the first run. In the second I did it a bit quieter and this probably cost me the pole," said Raikkonen.
