Start of second free practice postponed; medical helicopter can not take off

The first free practice was cancelled due to the weather conditions at the Nürburgring and it looks like the second free practice will also be a challenge. The time will start at 14:00, but the pit lane will remain closed for the time being. This means that you can't get on the track.

Wait until half-past three (local time)

This morning's situation repeats itself this afternoon at the Nürburgring. The weather conditions are too severe for the medical helicopter to take off safely. As a result, the second free practice cannot start for the time being.

At 15:30 (local time) there will be a new update and if the weather is not better for the helicopter to take off then there is a good chance that the second session will also fall into the water.

Conditions are similar to earlier, and race control again confirms the medical helicopter cannot fly ahead of FP2.
