Sergio Perez has had a changing season so far, not least because Sebastian Vettel will take over his seat next season. He also had to miss two races at Silverstone because of his infection with corona.
Despite this, the Mexican remains confident. "I really think we can have a stronger second half of the season. I don’t think the luck has always been on my side in the races so far. It feels like there is more to come", he said in the preview of his team.
In 2015 the Racing Point driver was already on the podium in Sochi, so he will be looking forward to the upcoming race with a lot of confidence. "I really like Sochi; I have great memories here. It’s a good track and I like the challenge. I’ve always been strong here and I think we can score good points this weekend.”
