According to Jack Plooij, Lance Stroll has to clear the field at Racing Point next year. The team will start next season as Aston Martin. Stroll should make way for Sebastian Vettel.
Stroll may need to leave the team
"The loudest rumor is that there has been talk of a construction to remove Lance Stroll from the team and park him with another team", says Plooij at the Ziggo Sport F1 cafe.
"They are talking about the best solution. I still see it happening. Get your own son out, are you a businessman or not?", says Plooij. According to Plooij, Lawrence Stroll is far from being in full control of Aston Martin.
Growing with another team
According to Plooij, Stroll can grow well with another team. Stroll is still a very young driver and especially for sponsors it would be a good deal to have Vettel in the car.
