Motorsport Appreciation Day cancelled due to coronavirus fears

The Chinese E Prix and Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix have already been cancelled due to coronavirus but it has struck at another motorsport event. The Motorsport Appreciation Day at Suzuka in Japan has also been cancelled due to fears of the virus.

The event was set to take place on the 7th and 8th of March at the venue of the Japanese Grand Prix. It is a chance for race fans from around the world to admire cars such as Red bull's challenger from last year as well as the Toyota LMP1 and a WRC car were meant to be on show. 

However, it now won't go ahead as planned, joining a growing list of motorsport events to be cancelled.

The coronavirus is sweeping the world after it originated in China. The virus is said to have been detected 727 times in Japan. No fewer than 75,000 people have been infected all over the world, of which 2243 have died.
