Renault fire up their 2020 engine for the first time!

Renault have started their 2020 F1 engine for the first time as they build towards a new season of racing. The team lost ground to the top three in 2019, being overtaken by McLaren but they are looking to put that right with a superstar driver line-up.

The French team controversially dropped Nico Hulkenberg at the end of last year, signing Esteban Ocon onto a multi-year contract. Ocon impressed at Force India/Racing Point before himself being dropped to make way for Lance Stroll.

And now the next step of their 2020 season has been completed as they start up their engine for the first time. The manufacturer also provides engines for McLaren, but after 2020 they are set to have no engine customers.
