Mercedes' 2019 started out as a struggle in winter testing as Ferrari looked set to be a dominant force for the season. But from Australia through to Spain Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas dominated the first five races securing consecutive one-two finishes, going on to resist the comebacks of the Scuderia and Aston Martin Red Bull Racing to become six times consecutive souble World Champions.
