Ferrari are set to bring back their Misson Winnow sponsor for the first time for almost half a year when the team take to the track at the Suzuka Circuit this weekend.

On the official FIA list of teams, Ferrari are called: Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow. However, they have not used the full title since the Monaco Grand Prix back in May this year.

The Ferrari car; the SF90 last had the Mission Winnow sponsors on it back in Monaco as well. But reports suggest that the Mission Winnow branding will make a return to the famous red cars in Japan this weekend.

The controversy behind the brand is to do with its tobacco-related influence.

Ferrari go into the weekend as favourites in Japan, as the Maranello-based squad have been the quickest in Formula 1 in recent races and were set to win in Russia before a mix-up in team orders and then an unfortunate incident involving Sebastian Vettel paved the way for a Mercedes one-two.
