After securing their second win of the season, Honda's social media team have taken a cheeky dig at Fernando Alonso and his famous 'GP2 engine' remark during the 2015 Japanese Grand Prix.

During that race, the Spaniard, who was driving a Honda-powered McLaren, was overtaken by the Toro Rosso of Max Verstappen in a straight line. Alonso went on the team radio and shouted that the Honda engine was like a GP2 engine, a remark which has become quite famous.

Four years later, Alonso is out of Formula 1 and Honda have had two victories already in 11 races partnered with Red Bull Racing, the second of which came earlier today at the Hockenheimring in Germany. Daniil Kvyat's Honda-powered Toro Rosso also finished on the podium.

After the victory, Honda had a very cheeky dig on social media...

We don't think anybody will believe that was an actual typo!
