David Coulthard has taken to Twitter to drop a hint about Channel 4's coverage of Formula 1 next season.

Channel 4 is set to broadcast the British Grand Prix and will have highlights of all the other race weekends. Little information has been given about the details of the programme but it is likely that the highlights package will be shown at a prime time.

Previously Channel 4 had the broadcast rights for 10 race weekends and they had taken over the partial rights from the BBC in 2016.

Production was taken over by Channel 4 and Whisper Films, which is partially owned by David Coulthard, who worked as a presenter and pundit of the Channel 4 show.

Coulthard took to Twitter to suggest that the Channel 4 team will remain much the same but it looks like there will be some changes.

Recent changes to Ferraris media team were highlighted by Coulthard who will look forward to working with a new Ferrari press team in the new season.
