Red Bull Racing boss Dr Helmut Marko believes the car rule changes in place for next season are "pointless".
The Formula One bosses are mixing the competition up next season in order to try and give the sport a more exciting and entertaining feel as they aim for a wider audience around the globe.
These planned changes include different front wings that are designed to try and make overtaking easier for drivers.
Marko isn't a fan of these plans and has admitted he doesn't see the point in them.
"It's a pointless regulation change that costs us around 15 million euros," Marko explained to Auto Motor und Sport. "As far as the downforce is concerned, we are already more or less back at the current levels. And it will effect have no effect on the overtaking problem.
"I think we're making decisions like that, we don't need to talk about the budget cap."
Marko's Red Bull team are making the switch to Honda as their power unit supplier for 2019, ending their long relationship with Renault.
